Monday - Friday (8:30 am to 5:00 pm)
Our office can provide citizens the opportunity to register to vote at community events. You may invite our office to be part of your event and we will assist citizens in registering to vote, updating their voter registration record (name, address, party affiliation, and signature updates), requesting vote-by-mail ballots, and distributing general election information.
Our office encourages high schools around the county to use the real voting equipment to vote for their student government and class officers. Students are trained to work their election and staff the positions required just like a real polling place on election day. Students are checked by their student poll workers and handed a ballot, then place their voted ballot in the voting machine and receive an I VOTED sticker.
Classroom presentations are geared to specific grade levels and include a discussion on the importance of voting, our local government and the electoral process. Students have the opportunity to participate in a mock election and are also offered the opportunity to pre-register or register to vote if they are eligible.
Need a speaker to address your organization or company regarding the Electoral Process? Let us know the topic of interest to your group and we will customize our presentation for your audience. Contact Vicky for more information.
